Berries

Well Known Widely Available Berries:
“Exotic” Berries Very Popular Today:
You should eat or juice with a variety of berries since they offer different benefits. Perhaps even better take at least one serving a day of one of our potent immune boosting supplements, such as “Supreme Nutrition” or “Fruits of the Earth” that offer more protective and nourishing benefits including digestive enzymes and beneficial probiotics than a fresh fruit serving for similar cost.
As a general rule darker colors have increased antioxidants. For example, while raspberries have more fiber, immune boosting folate and blood healthy iron, strawberries have twice the vitamin C as raspberries and more trace minerals. And strawberries are a good source of cancer fighting ellagic acid and flavonoids, the miracle phytochemicals.
Blackberries have extra benefits for women pertaining to blood purification and menstrual cycles.
Blueberries, concord grapes and cranberries, the only three berry fruits native to America, have well known health benefits including helping with certain infections and protecting against inflammation.
All berries are oil free sources of vitamin C and have some catechin (high levels in green tea) and other antioxidant boosting nutrients and good digestive fiber all with only 100 calories on average per cup.
Berries are also a good additive to plain yogurts and salads. The best regimen to add super fuel to your body is to juice fresh fruits and vegetables and add a scoop or two of one of our Superfoods to the fresh juice for an amazingly healthy and protective quick easy and affordable “meal.”
