The Most Powerful Path To Lasting Wellness

We are at an interesting time in our awareness level as a species. Never before have so many people become aware of how important health and wellness are to overall vitality, longevity and general well being in life. Except for that short week back in 1976 after we all saw the movie “Rocky”, drank a couple of raw eggs and jogged for a half mile around our neighborhood, we have been somewhat in the dark on what is truly the best path to optimal physical health. Habits from what we eat and drink, to how we exercise and stay physically fit are under micro scrutiny these days.  We are learning a tremendous amount of about how our hormone levels operate, what causes aging and how to keep our bodies in top balance and condition.

This is wonderful news for society as a whole. A fit species is one with a greater chance of survival. A fit species is also one with greater vitality and lower financial burdens from healthcare costs, directly leading to a decrease in stress which greatly increases the day to day quality of life. Isn’t that what life is really about?

This attempt to find a better physical sense of balance is really part of a much bigger shift in human evolution that is combined with an awareness of a planet that is looking for balance. It is no coincidence that the Eco-movement is running parallel to the wellness shift. However, these movements will find themselves having little impact on your life if they aren’t combined with a shift in the area that holds the most power as it relates to true change; Self-awareness.

The path of self-awareness is the most powerful journey one can take in life. Understanding the truth about the way you have grown up and been nurtured to see the world and yourself leads to a greater understanding of yourself. A greater understanding of yourself leads to less resistance towards yourself. Less resistance towards yourself reflects in less resistance towards your world and all of those that you interact with and have relationships with.

Resistance is the core of ALL negatively generated energy inside you. It works its way into every cell of your body and has a direct effect on every physical symptom and dis-ease you experience. It does not matter how much you exercise or what incredible foods you ingest, if this is not combined with a healthy and balanced mental state of mind and view of who you are, it will have little effect on what health and wellness is really attempting to give you and what all human beings have strived towards for ages; A balanced, peaceful and lasting positive state of mind in each of the precious moments of your life.
