Dr. Tricia Pingel is a graduate of Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. She holds a BS in Biology from Arizona State University. Her main focus is to use nutrition as a pathway to optimum health. She has a strong interest in diseases of endocrinology, the pediatric population, bio identical hormone replacement and weight loss.

Working in the fashion industry for over 15 years, she has a vested interest in educating young upcoming models on the importance of proper nutrition and health to maintain career longevity.

Dr. Pingel is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association.

Depression and Anxiety….What’s Really Going On

Many people make their way into their doctor’s office with complaints of fatigue, anxiety, or lack of energy, drive and focus. In many cases, attending physicians dispense anti-depressants, (some times like candy) such as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) as a means to treat their symptoms of depression or anxiety.
